We are looking for someone with a logical passionate mindset to join our ever-growing exciting business. In this role, you will act as an escalation point for the Service Desk on Infrastructure related incidents and perform day-to-day administration of all Infrastructure related systems

·       Working rota – Monday - Friday

·       Working hours – 40 Hours

What You'll Be Doing:

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be doing the following: 

  • Completing technical project work on systems such as server and storage hardware, Active Directory, VMWare vSphere, Windows Server, Veeam, Microsoft Azure, GCP and Microsoft 365. 
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with the business users and IT teams 
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on IT systems such as applying patches and configuration changes 
  • Undertake day-to-day Windows Server, Active Directory and VMWare vSphere administration tasks 
  • Carry out cloud-based admin tasks and troubleshooting in GCP, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure 

What We're Looking For:

  • An in-depth knowledge of Active Directory, including Group Policy 
  • Experience of administrating a Windows Server estate (2012 R2+)
  •  Experience supporting Microsoft 365 
  • Experience of administrating VMWare vSphere (7.0+) 
  • A good understanding of networking concepts including DNS and DHCP 
  • Experience of supporting server and storage hardware, preferably HPE
