As the world’s only major agriscience company completely dedicated to agriculture, Corteva Agriscience is building a culture that stays curious, thinks differently, acts boldly and takes a stand on what’s right for our customers, our co-workers, our partners and our planet. We know we’ve got big challenges to solve – we hope you’ll be part of the solution.
Corteva Agriscience is seeking a Global Income Tax Accounting Leader to join our Finance Department. This position is based in Wilmington, DE and offers a hybrid work arrangement (in office three days per week).
The Global Income Tax Accounting Leader is responsible for leading company’s global income tax accounting and reporting process under U.S. GAAP (ASC 740). This role has primary responsibility for managing the quarterly and annual income tax provision, including the effective tax rate, deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions, and related disclosures.
The position directly manages a small global tax accounting team and provides leadership across a broader group of stakeholders involved in the provision process, including U.S. and foreign tax, controllership, and finance teams. While the role operates with technical oversight and partnership from the Director, the Global Income Tax Accounting Leader is accountable for day-to-day execution, coordination, and delivery of global tax accounting results.
The position serves as the primary technical authority for income tax accounting, provides strategic leadership across global tax reporting activities, and partners closely with U.S. compliance, planning, treasury, FP&A, controllership, and auditors.
