ACCIONA, in its Construction Business, is looking to hire an Accounting Associate for its Malolos to Clark Railway Project in Clark, Pampanga.

• Recognizes and records costs and expenses in accordance with Generally
  Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting policies of the Institution
  and rules established by applicable authoritative bodies
• Evaluates the vendor billing and prepare the Accounts Payable Voucher based
  on the Vendor Billing and Payment guidelines
• Processes payments or Check Vouchers on a timely manner taking advantage of
  the credit period
• Uses applicable and accurate tax rates (VAT, withholding tax, etc.)
• Ensures correct down payment, advances and charges recoupment were
  applied
• Ensures retention is applied, where applicable
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related
  transactions.
• Prepares reconciliation, aging and other analyses of accounts and produces
  monthly reports
• Disburses petty cash by recording entry and verifying documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Preferred candidates will have a background in construction.
• Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency with accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal financial regulations
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred
