Summary of the position:

This position will provide up-to-date training for our distributors on how to operate/work on Hitachi Global Air Power equipment. This includes designing and implementing in-person and online training content.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Working with subject matter experts in service & engineering to design learning content that is optimized for all styles of learning.

  • Assist in updating course materials, presentations, and other training-related documents.

  • Develop self-paced online modules.

  • Develop training content for products prior to launch.

  • Develop instructional videos.

  • Assist with upkeep of the Learning Management System to enhance the value proposition to our distributors/channel partners.

  • Assist customers/distributors with training inquiries by phone and email.

  • Evaluating the effectiveness of current training courses and working to continuously improve content and processes through customer feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree a plus.

Professional experience:

  • Strong graphic design skills are a must – Adobe Photoshop, Premier, InDesign. Blender or CAD a plus.

  • Experience with Unreal Engine a plus.

  • Understanding of adult learning theory .

  • Compressor experience a plus.

  • Ability to multitask.

  • Experience in developing SCORM e-learning material.

  • Strong Microsoft suite skills are a must.

  • Customer focused in a very customer-facing environment.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work on a team.

  • Mechanical experience is a plus.
