About the role

As a Strategic Planning Senior Associate, you will play a critical role in shaping Carrier’s business strategy by analyzing market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry data. Your insights will help guide strategic decisions that impact sustainability, innovation, and growth across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Strategic Planning Senior Associate, you’ll be responsible for:

• Reporting Carrier-specific data to industry associations (e.g., AHRI, HRAI).
• Analyzing industry data and creating actionable reports for business functions.
• Continuously improving reporting processes for accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
• Monitoring market trends in HVAC, building automation, and aftermarket services.
• Tracking competitor activities (M&A, partnerships, earnings, product launches).
• Delivering insights and reports to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Supporting digital transformation by developing automated dashboards for market data.
• Identifying and implementing AI-driven solutions, including Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about turning data into actionable insights. If this sounds like you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of experience in market research, market intelligence, or related roles.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, ThinkCell).
• Familiarity with data science tools (Python, SAS).
• HVAC industry knowledge.
• Experience in virtual collaboration environments (Microsoft Teams).
• Ability to learn fast and work independently.
