SUMMARY: To bring technical and administrative Support for Ingredion strategies development by CAPEX execution, through Project & Permit Management within main projects constraints (Scope, cost, time, risks, quality and resources), as well as an active participation on improvement opportunities identification, using process and installation analysis, in order to deliver Innovative Engineering solutions with positive Business impact, with efficient capital usage and maximize profitability of investments that increase ROCE and Business growing.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Actively work to safeguard and enable the well-being of our people, the quality of our products and our reputation for trust and integrity.
- Prepare, submit, execute, start, and close the assigned investments within the time limits of portfolio management objectives.
- Efficiently plan and manage the budget of the assigned investments, reducing the chance of the investments going over budget through a carefully monitored and recorded method of each account to make sure that they are aligned with the cost management plan, including a proper and prompt communication method of budget status and unforeseen situations.
- Identify, define, execute and control of scope and performance of assigned investments during its life cycle, delivering the outputs, outcomes and benefits approved to achieve the business results according to portfolio execution plans.
- Effectively overseeing the risk management process during investment execution Identifying, evaluating, and preventing or mitigating risks to a project that have the potential to impact the desired outcomes.
- Proper identification, communication, and managing of main stakeholders of assigned investments in order to satisfy its expectations and/or communicate properly the status, and changes of investments during the whole life cycle.
EXPERIENCE
- Years of experience:
- 5 years as Project Engineer of industrial manufacturing plants (food, chemical, bio-chemical or pharmaceutical), demonstrating successful implementation of solutions, including effective project management of small to medium scale projects (over US$500 k)
- 10 years of experience as a Engineer
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificated or post graduate on Project Management topics
- Ability to manage 5-10 projects simultaneously
- Experience with PSM chemicals and systems
- Microsoft Project proficiency
SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemistry, Industrial, Instrumentation), or equivalent in experience.
- English B2 level
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint demonstrating knowledge to prepare reports, spreadsheets and presentations.
- High sense of a self-awareness and safety people as a primary personal and corporate value
- Data-driven with a focus on data analysis
- Knowledge on Capital Investment program; also preparation, evaluation, execution and project management.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with colleagues with a variety of experience.
- Work effectively in a team environment, build consensus, and foster relationships at multiple organizational levels and across different functions.
- Demonstrate a degree of sound judgment, resourcefulness, initiative, and innovation in handling complex technical assignments, of an autonomous way or with minimal supervision.
