Job Summary 

As the VP or Senior Director of Product Management you'll spearhead the effort to define, develop and execute the product strategy for a fast growing business in an exciting vertical. You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, elevating user experience, and ensuring our products are aligned with the overarching vision and objectives of the company.

Responsibilities 

  • Vision and strategy: Collaborate with senior and executive leadership to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. This includes owning the 3-5 year product vision, product consolidation initiatives, and ongoing roadmap.

  • Technology partnership: Forge a strong partnership with technology leadership to oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation through to launch and post-launch optimization.

  • Market insights: Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends. You'll champion the user experience by gathering and implementing user feedback.

  • Revenue growth: Drive product initiatives aimed at increasing revenue, profitability, customer acquisition, and retention. Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demand, and business objectives.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with executives and senior leadership teams in engineering, marketing, and sales teams to drive product development from concept to launch.

  • Performance measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and track performance against targets.

  • Team leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product managers and product owners, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in partnership with our technology team.

Requirements 

  •  
  • Minimum of 10 years' product leadership experience: You bring extensive experience in product management in a SaaS organization, with a significant portion (at least 10 years) in leadership roles focused on product strategy and execution. You should have experience managing multiple product managers/owners and multiple dev teams, some on-shore and some off-shore.
  • Proven track record of implementing product mgt best practices & bringing products to market: Your history speaks volumes. You've implemented product management best practices while successfully taking products to market, fueling business growth, and consistently delivering value to customers. Experience should include building features that drive sales as well as features that make for an easy implementation and a successful customer journey. Pragmatic Marketing or similar product management best practice training is preferred.
  • Deep agile experience with a focus on MVPs and ruthless prioritization: You thrive in fast-paced, agile environments, are adept at building MVPs to test market hypotheses, and are comfortable ruthlessly prioritizing requirements from many sources.
  • Experience managing a mix of different customers. You have balanced the needs of enterprise and SMB customers and even partners to create a roadmap that maximizes customer satisfaction and revenue.
  • Leadership finesse: You excel in leading and managing cross-functional teams, inspiring them to reach ambitious goals and driving a culture of excellence.
  • Strategic prowess: Your strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities are top-notch. You rely on data to drive your decisions and always keep your eye on the bigger picture.
  • Communication mastery: Your communication and interpersonal skills are exceptional, allowing you to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Salary Range Disclosure

The base range represents the low and high end of the Togetherwork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Togetherwork's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 6 weeks paid parental leave and more.

Salary Range

US Remote: $170,000 to $180,000 USD per year
