Material Program Management Process Improvement Owner

The Material Program Management Process Improvement Owner plays a critical role in enabling fast, high‑quality New Product Introductions (NPI), efficient engineering change execution, optimized supply chain planning, and continuous improvement of product lifecycle processes.

This role includes expanded responsibilities in business process development, SAP operational support, training, and cross‑functional special projects within the PLM PC domain.

Key Responsibilities (Integrated Scope)

Business Process Development – 35%

As Acting PLM Coordinator:

  • Lead development, documentation, and optimization of PLM business processes to improve transparency, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Support cross‑functional teams in aligning on PLM workflows, ownership, and process governance.

PLM PC SAP Operations & Training – 35%

  • Serve as primary support contact for SAP transactions related to PLM PC activities (BOM updates, material creation/changes, ECN processing, logistics impacts).
  • Develop and deliver SAP process training for PLM stakeholders and new team members.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and ensure data integrity across product structures and engineering changes.

Special Projects for PLM PC – 30%

  • Support PLM continuous improvement initiatives within Supply Chain Management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or another technical STEM discipline.
  • 2+ years of technical project management experience.
  • Experience in PLM, SAP, product structure management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong cross‑functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving capability in complex, fast‑moving environments.
  • High level of adaptability, emotional intelligence, and a self‑starter mindset.
  • Proven ability to influence, coordinate, and lead process-driven initiatives across teams.
