JOB SUMMARY:

       

Polaris is looking for Global Trade Associate (FTA) whose primary responsibility is to work on solicitation of free trade agreements, such as USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Free Trade Agreement), KORUS, country of origin assignment, and other trade compliance functions primarily for imports and exports within North America.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Solicit suppliers for free trade (USMCA, TRACE, KORUS) and country of origin
  • Monitor and follow-up with supplier solicitations
  • Review supplier responses for accuracy and maintain up-to-date trackers
  • Make the calls to the suppliers or Polaris Internal team to get the faster solicitation responses when required
  • Coordinating with stake holders to resolve critical issues/challenges
  • Maintain appropriate recordkeeping to support free trade claims
  • Audit the solicitation accepted campaigns month-on-month basis
  • Coordinating with Lead/manager to identify process improvements based on the monthly KPI's
  • To support Team Lead in training new joiners

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:

Basic Qualifications

  • Any degree
  • 0 to 2 years of trade compliance experience (Experience in FTA is an added advantage).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpretation skill
  • Problem Solving skills
