THE ROLE

For our R&D Department in our plant in Montecchio Maggiore (VI), with more than 800 employees, we are looking for a Department Assistant who provides assistance and coordination support to the organization in general for all R&D initiatives connected with internal activities.

Must have the ability to work under pressure, demonstrate active listening and exhibit organizational skills. This is a demanding and diverse role that includes a mix of administrative tasks, project coordination and creative work.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Collecting data: assisting R&D Leader in collecting and analyzing R&D Project data and drafting reports (i.e. budget monitoring); collecting company data for survey ISTAT answering.

  • Point of contact for orders and shipment activities: supporting R&D managers in issuing and opening new orders through the company ERP and managing requests to Shipment and/or Customer Service for the issuance of documents for sample shipments.

  • Validity check of technical standards for Montecchio Maggiore site and linked archive/register activities.

  • Updating Data in the ERP (i.e. code/revision of drawings or Instruction manuals) following ECN

  • Requests for component and/or finished product withdrawals for the Electronics Laboratory and inventory management at the relevant RDLAB location

  • Organizing logistics for other Xylem employees visiting Company (book meeting rooms, coffee break).

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma as a minimum in Accounting/Economics

  • Previous experience in Assistant role is considered a plus

  • Ability to prioritize activity and planning

  • Fluent Italian

  • Fluent in English

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality

CONTRACT: Permanent – Full time
