Overview

As a Business Intelligence Manager of Financial Data Reporting, you’ll effectively lead and coordinate our teams to support multiple business functions. You’ll manage our analytics and operational reporting  processes from development to implementation, including responsibilities like compiling operational status reports, and overseeing projects and strategic initiatives. More specifically, you’ll:

  • Collaborate with operational leaders to deliver valuable reporting tools and analysis and facilitate initiatives that help drive team effectiveness.

  • Lead and coordinate business intelligence analysts to build and maintain reporting to operational leadership on staffing, budgeting, compliance, and performance results

  • Drives innovation in data engineering practices and stays abreast of emerging technologies and trends in business intelligence, data analytics and engineering, evaluating their potential impact on our service delivery and recommending adoption where appropriate.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years hands-on Business Intelligence or Database Development work experience

  • 2+ years of Technical Leadership & Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Project management, or other related disciplines.

  • Degree in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or similar

  • Leads the development of enterprise business intelligence solutions through the full development life cycle including requirements, design, development, testing, release, validation, etc.

  • Oversees the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable data infrastructure and architecture to support data analysis and modeling.

  • Ability to structure, analyze, and contextualize vast, unstructured or incomplete data in context of business problems and to drive business impact

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and MS Excel

  • Demonstrated strength in SQL scripting and programming in Python and/or R

  • Collaborates with business analysts, strategy managers, and business partners to understand needs, priorities, and opportunities and provides value add data-centric solutions.

  • Ensures compliance with data governance policies, standards, and regulations, maintaining data integrity, security, and privacy.

  • Coordinates and collaborates with cross functional teams for alignment, issue resolution, and product delivery.

  • Effectively communicates complex technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and advocacy efforts.

  • Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the team in collaboration with senior management.

  • Fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning across all Business Intelligence disciplines.

  • Insurance industry experience is a nice to have.

Annual Salary

$113,000.00 - $207,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
