As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join our finance team and play a pivotal role in driving our success.
Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in performing accounting duties, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Essential Responsibilities:
Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analyses, providing insights to senior management for decision-making.
Support external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and addressing audit inquiries.
Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate revenue and expense accruals and understand financial statement fluctuations.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the finance function.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
0-3 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
Previous experience in public accounting preferred
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial analysis principles.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team with staff at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets.
Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to diverse stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement process improvements.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross annualized salary range for this role is $78,000 - $83,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
