Job Summary

Serves as partner to the Compensation Analysts and Consultants in addressing compensation issues raised by the Human Resources Business Partners and business leaders. Provide analytic support to the assigned Compensation Analysts and Consultants in support of compensation projects.

Essential Functions

  • Assists with the analysis and evaluation of non-exempt and exempt jobs to determine appropriate grade, titling, and exemption status. Reviews evaluation request forms, job descriptions, organizational charts; examines internal equity issues; and assists with the market analysis to price jobs utilizing published market surveys.
  • Assists in compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions and demotions.
  • Participates and completes annual market salary surveys. Obtains survey results and forwards data to vendor for uploading into the market pricing application.
  • Assists in the administration of all salary increase programs such as merit/GPI increases, incentive and bonus programs.
  • Prepares market analyses in response to requests received from Compensation Analysts or Consultants.
  • Responds to ServiceNow cases for information, records, services, and data on a timely basis. Ensures a job description exists for each job that accurately reflects responsibilities (essential functions). Ensures all job descriptions are maintained within the appropriate software.
  • Creates and maintains job profile elements and pay plans within Workday. Audits data and may create reports in support of compensation processes (salary increases, bonus, job evaluation, etc.).
  • Provides assistance with the administration of salary increases for team members covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
  • Assist the Physician Compensation teams with the creation of job profiles in Workday; assist with the administration of the Continuing Medical Education (CME) program(s); or handle the administration of the post-termination compensation (aka severance) program.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Two years of relevant experience in an analytical role

Preferred

  • Prior experience working in compensation and/or healthcare
