POSITION: Operations Manager
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
FLSA STATUS: Full-Time Exempt
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for an Operations Manager in Chicago, IL. Soldier Field is in the fast lane for opportunity and excitement. We are seeking a unique Operations Manager person to join our Operations team. The Operations Manager under general supervision, is responsible for the daily activities required to run, maintain, and service the facility and/or the events. Also, acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients’ requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.
Essential Duties:
Oversees weekly cleaning and maintenance of premium spaces i.e club and suites
Works with Anchor World Cleaning to make a cleaning schedule on a weekly basis in accordance with club events and major events i.e concerts, Fire/Bear games, one off soccer games
Works with the Sr. Operations Manager to staff gameday washroom attendants and any other weekly projects as necessary
Designates gameday event crew into positions and serves as lead for any facilities related calls throughout an event
Works with Sr. Operations Manager with ordering cleaning supplies and any other relevant supplies
Makes daily rounds of stadium premium spaces and schedules necessary personnel depending on maintenance, repairs, or custodial work
Responsible for the supervision and guidance of 50+ PT cleaning staff members on event days
Assures facility cleanliness & readiness as well as proper staffing prior to all events
Assists the Sr. Operations Manager in supervising in any of the following Operations departments; Housekeeping, Custodial, Washroom Attendants, General Labor, Maintenance, Landscaping and Snow Removal
Procures and manages the ordering of office supplies and additional requested materials to ensure operational efficiency
Creates Bi-Weekly and Weekly Operational reports for the Director of Operations
Serves as Manager on Duty as required
Oversee Stadium Greening/Recycling initiatives

Skills Required: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ASM's policies and applicable laws.
Demonstrate knowledge of practices and procedures related to event set-up and conversions; typical methods and techniques for cleaning and maintaining the facility equipment; and proper use and care of hand and power tools.
Demonstrate ability to carry out tasks in a reliable, productive and expedient manner and be able to adhere to strict deadlines.
Engage in much decision-making that is generally governed by procedure and guided by policy.
Demonstrate ability to carry out tasks in a reliable, productive and expedient manner and be able to adhere to strict deadlines.
Work independently, exercising judgment and initiative.
Work in a fast-paced environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk extensively, occasionally required to kneel, climb to high walkways or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
This position requires work inside and outside of the building and some exposure to adverse conditions.
Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.
Serves as MOD (Manager on Duty) as required
Education And/Or Experience
Bachelor's Degree from technical college with major in Management or Maintenance Engineering. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Supervising or Managing in a similar facility. Additional experience may be substituted for education. Supervisory experience required.
