About our Team

This person will manage a team of 5 based in Tokyo, and will represent the ICIS commercial business for Japan.
 

About the Role

The Head of Sales is a senior commercial leader position responsible for delivering profitable growth and exceeding targets within Japan. As the leader in the region, responsibilities include embedding customer-centricity across ICIS and being a customer champion.
 

Responsibilities

  • Taking responsibility for exceeding financial and wider business objectives

  • Hiring, leading, developing, inspiring and motivating your team to deliver against regional, business and team objectives

  • Deploying resources into areas of best impact to execute on market strategy

  • Increasing both customer and employee satisfaction, engagement, mission impact, loyalty, innovation and revenue.

  • Developing a deep understanding of customer workflow, market trends, competition, opportunity and threats


Requirements

  • Track record of driving growth and new business to exceed financial business objectives with Significant experience in commercial execution.

  • Experience working cross-functionally to create high performance organizations and developing both sales strategies and their own team

  • Ensure best practice and sales governance and adherence of self and team to all relevant policies and procedures.

  • Skills in both verbal and written English and Japanese. Including the ability to collaborate, influence and manage remotely to work with other business functions and geographies

  • Able to define, develop and deliver on short and long-term commercial strategies to address key market opportunities. Enhancing customer and prospect engagement and results via go-to-market excellence.

  • Industry knowledge and experience in Consultative sales is a major plus.
