POSITION SPECIFICS
The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Colorectal Surgery is seeking a full-time Post Doctoral Scholar to work on campus in Hershey, PA. A successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in inflammatory bowel disease research. They will be responsible for performing a variety of job duties, including:
Experience/Education Guidelines:
Prospective candidates holding a PhD degree in Biomedical Sciences or a related field are eligible to apply. Life sciences (Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, etc.) PhDs with computational experience are also eligible for this position. PhD candidates who submitted their doctoral thesis can also apply.
Experience in assessing intestinal epithelial barrier function, confocal microscopy and bacterial culturing is preferred but not required for the position.
