The Role

Nurse Practitioners (ONLY) in Vitable’s Provider Network practice independently or under a supervising physician, leveraging their advanced clinical skills and our EMR platform to provide compassionate, high-quality care tailored to each patient. As independent contractors, providers enjoy the flexibility to set their schedules, starting with an initial commitment of 2-3 hours per week. There are also opportunities for telehealth services and the potential to expand availability in the future if desired.

Compensation: For in-person shifts, providers earn $90 per completed visit, with mileage reimbursement, or $50 per hour for scheduled time without patient bookings. For telemedicine, providers earn $50 per hour, regardless of whether patients book or complete their appointments.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and medical histories of patients
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatments
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, health promotion, and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and support staff for coordinated care
  • Document patient care in electronic health records

Minimum Requirements:

  • Doctorate or Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current in-state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner  
  • One year of experience practicing as an NP
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Malpractice insurance
  • CPR certification
  • A car and valid driver’s license
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multi-state licensure
  • Primary care background
  • Prior experience with home health or house calls
  • Skilled in drawing blood
