Job Description

The Global Capital Cost Control ANL is part of the Workplace organization. The role is responsible for proactively supporting, and reporting on Workplace capital initiatives. Additionally, they work closely in partnership with peers in the Finance and Real Estate teams to improve the efficient management of our capital investment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Review project capex and invoicing trackers ensure timely updating of timelines, budgets and risks for all build outs and maintenance projects
  • Escalate issues and support resolution of cost related project issues, risks, and/or conflicts, working with the Strategic Cost Management Team.
  • Support financial management and oversight for Infrastructure Capital Management related to Fiscal year planning and forecasts.
  • Assess progress against Plan, identifying gap and variation analysis of spend and timing of actual spend and ensuring EACs have been updated in a timely manner
  • Support the development of technology/tools
  • Generate and validate reports for various business requirements, such as but not limited to status reports, scorecards, dashboards, etc.
  • Actively participate in all process improvements stages: conceptualization, implementation and continuous process improvements.
  • Learns new applications, technologies, and skills through intensive hands-on experience.

  • Job Qualifications
  • 2-4+ years of business and/or real estate / workplace cost management experience
  • ·Financial management experience with understanding of the delivery of capital projects
  • ·Technical skills and ability to leverage and manage large data sets
  • ·Strong communication, organization time management and problem-solving skills  
  • ·Strong track record of building relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to function as a Team Player and maintain a good working relationship, yet think and act independently with professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to flex based on business priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead conversations with stakeholders.
  • Experience working in workplace related tools or process is an added advantage.
