About the team:
Corporate Payments are the rapid growing (double digit YOY) and innovative business unit within FIS, a Fortune500 company. We deliver FIS Payments Hub to big businesses around the globe and we are looking for Practice Manager to manage, lead and grow the Professional Services Practice/Team with the team center in Pune, India. If you have experience leading teams or business units in multinational environments, coming from FinTech, Finance, Payments, Treasury, or a similar domain and if you would like to grow further – this could be a job of your dream.
What you will be doing
- Manage consulting Practice to ensure projects meet customer needs, business requirements and future business growth objectives as well supporting overall FIS objectives and revenue and profitability goals,
- Manage and grow consultants team and strategy to effectively execute business plan,
- Ensures Practice provides industry thought leadership,
- Manage consulting personnel including engagement staffing, staff performance/evaluations, effective communication, career planning and succession planning,
- Manage key FIS channel relationships such as sales, relationship management, product management, business unit management and others ensuring continued collaboration to drive results for Practice,
- Provide direct sales support throughout entire sales cycle working closely with sales and account management to create and close opportunities including proposal/statement of work development, negotiating pricing, project planning and giving prospect presentations,
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration/management/Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience,.
- Strong experience and expertise in Payments domain and processes.
- Proficient in Payments domain and experience in implementation of Payments application
- Good knowledge of database.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded.
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills working with technical and non-technical individuals.
- Practical experience in one or more following fields is a big plus: Treasury, Account Payables, Cash Management, e-Commerce, FinTech, Corporate Banking or Banking Payments (in a medium to large corporation or software and service provider),
- Leadership, management, organizational, and team building skills,
- Ability to build relationships with C-level management, peers and others,
- Speaks and writes fluently English (other languages are a plus),
- Project management, productivity, planning, and workload management skills,
