We have an opportunity for Algorithm Developer to join our talented and diverse team with a wide range of expertise in algorithm development, for current and future medical devices.

As a member of our R&D team, you will take part in algorithm prototyping and commercialization using technologies such as C++, Python, or Cuda programming.

Our common driver is to make a difference in the lives of more than three million patients treated with our products around the world through our work and innovations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prototype, implement, document and support the development of algorithms in the context of dose calculation in radiotherapy treatments.
  • Maintain substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories.
  • Participate in the definition and evaluation of the product strategy from a technical viewpoint in collaboration with the product owners.
  • Participate in conferences, publications and invention disclosures. 
  • Contribute to tasks of the application development lifecycle which are outside of your immediate role, such as risk management and complaint investigations.
     

Skills & Experience

  • Proficient in some programming language used in scientific computing, such as C++, Fortran, etc. Experience with Cuda is considered an asset.
  • Experience in algorithm development for scientific problems. Knowledge of Monte Carlo or deterministic solver for problems similar to radiation transport would be valued.
  • Fluency in English language, written and verbal. Ability to create concise and accurate documentation for internal purposes, and for the scientific community.
  • Master’s Degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or Doctoral Degree from Physics, Mathematics, or similar field.
