Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer to support and enhance the design, installation, and ongoing improvement of our quality control processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring that products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Quality Engineer will apply statistical techniques, lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts, and collaborate closely with production teams, engineering, and external partners. Position Overview
The Quality Engineer will act as a frontline liaison to production supervisors and staff, supporting troubleshooting activities, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions for issues impacting production. This role is responsible for maintaining the manufacturing quality system for assigned product groups and actively contributing to design reviews by identifying significant and critical feature characteristics on blueprints.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating all quality aspects of new product development, supporting on‑site start-ups, and managing tool and vendor certifications. The Quality Engineer will ensure that external suppliers meet established quality standards and will design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment as needed. This includes establishing and documenting critical assembly component criteria and developing in‑line inspection standards, as well as feedback systems from finished goods test stations.
The role will analyze production limitations and recommend revisions to specifications, assist in developing quality control policies and procedures, and support planning and coordination of quality engineering assignments. The Quality Engineer may supervise technicians or lower-level engineers, schedule work to meet deadlines, evaluate progress, and recommend improvements. Additional duties include developing and implementing quality control training programs, working within approved budgets, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and performing other tasks as assigned.
