What you'll do...

Job Summary

The Manager – Business Support -Quality Claims drives quality, consistency, and continuous improvement across casualty and liability claim portfolios. This role leads aggregate claim review analysis, identifies reserve adequacy and quality trends, and converts insights into actionable recommendations that improve claim outcomes, reduce risk, and strengthen governance across the Claims organization.

About the team:

The Claims Center of Excellence (CoE) Quality team drives quality, consistency, and continuous improvement across casualty and liability claim portfolios. The team leverages aggregate claim reviews, reserve adequacy analysis, and cross-functional partnerships to strengthen governance, reduce risk, and improve overall claim outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end aggregate claim review cycles including planning, file selection, execution oversight, and reporting.
  • Analyze claim quality and reserve adequacy trends to identify root causes, emerging risks, and actionable improvement themes.
  • Partner with Claims leadership, Underwriting, Actuarial, Internal Audit, and TPAs to drive data-informed decisions and governance excellence.
  • Translate review insights into targeted improvement plans with clear ownership, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Train and guide team members on quality tools, dashboards, and interpretation of review findings.

What You’ll bring

  • Qualification-Minimum of Bachelor’s degree. MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
  • 10–12 years of experience in claims processing or insurance operations, with strong knowledge of carrier and/or TPA environments.
  • 5+ years of operations management experience leading large operational or enablement teams.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience interpreting complex datasets and influencing quality or operational decisions.
  • Experience across varied claim segments (e.g., fast-track, major case unit, specialty cases) and reserve adequacy evaluations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; experience leading AI/digital initiatives in operations is a plus.
