Job Description:

Role Overview

The Technical Product Manager owns the end-to-end lifecycle and performance of assigned vendors and products within the Subscription Engine, including adoption, catalogue quality, transition readiness and stable operation on X4V in the target architecture. The role acts as the operational product owner for the vendor portfolio, creating accountability where catalogue lifecycle, vendor engagement, issue resolution and roadmap feedback need stronger ownership.

This is a technical, operations-embedded product role. It connects Support, Vendor Management, Sales, Product Management and Engineering to ensure vendors are ready, catalogues are accurate, issues are resolved through accountable paths, and product feedback is converted into structured roadmap input.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own assigned vendor/product portfolio across the Subscription Engine and the Vendor Platform, including operational readiness, lifecycle governance and production product health.

  • Drive catalogue lifecycle management: onboarding, SKU/product updates, pricing readiness, metadata quality, deprecations, migration readiness and compliance with catalogue standards.

  • Serve as the primary interface for assigned vendors from an operational product perspective, maintaining regular cadence, issue visibility and alignment with platform capabilities.

  • Provide a clear escalation path for Support and Operations, triaging vendor/product issues, prioritizing impact and driving resolution with Engineering, Vendors, Product Management or internal teams.

  • Analyze sales performance, support ticket drivers, catalogue quality issues, customer friction points and operational defects to generate actionable product and vendor insights.

  • Act as a structured roadmap-feedback channel, translating operational reality and support signals into prioritized product improvement opportunities.

  • Support go-to-market and sales enablement by providing visibility into product readiness, known issues, restrictions, launch risks and vendor positioning.

  • Own vendor readiness sequencing, dependency tracking and issue resolution during Vendor Platform adoption or target architecture transition.

  • Support interim vendor onboarding models by assessing workflows across Catalogue, Ordering, Provisioning, Usage, Rating & Billing, and Reconciliation; define RACI, SOPs, controls and launch readiness with operational teams.
