The Department

The Corporate Communications department manages global external communications on behalf of CAA, including media relations, speaking engagements, advertising, social media, events, and creative services. In addition, the department manages internal communications worldwide.

The Role

The world’s leading full-service entertainment, media and sports agency is seeking an Assistant to support the Corporate Communications department.

The ideal candidate should be motivated, quick-thinking and open to working in an environment where they are capable of performing administrative tasks. The individual should be flexible, highly organized and have the ability to multi-task.

Administrative duties include media monitoring, maintaining critical databases, preparing expense reports, producing correspondence, managing special projects and providing individual assistance, as needed.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Internship experience within the entertainment industry highly valued

  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Pays close attention to detail and accuracy

  • Meets deadlines and manages multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Professional and mature demeanor

Location

This role is in our Los Angeles office.

Compensation 

The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $20.00 - $22.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
