Brown & Brown is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Meridian, ID!
The Commercial Lines Client Service Representative (CSR) delivers exceptional client service while managing and supporting clients and teammates. This role serves as a point of contact for clients, carriers, and internal teams—handling policy servicing and supporting new business and renewal activities.
How You Will Contribute:
Support client inquiries, providing timely, professional, and high-quality service
Manage inbound and outbound phone call service requests
Manage day-to-day service requests including policy changes, policy renewals, certificates, ID cards, and assigned tasks
Support clients with billing questions, payment processing, and premium collection
Prepare, review, and process insurance documents
Maintain accurate client records in agency management systems, including updates, file documentation, and tracking open items
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and carrier requirements
Verify invoicing accuracy and assist with premium finance agreements and accounting-related items
Manage mid-term policy changes and assist with renewal strategy and stewardship reviews
Identify opportunities for additional coverage to mitigate uninsured or underinsured exposures
Licenses & Certifications:
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
1+ years of commercial lines account management
Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems
Ability to service within modern tech-centric agency management systems
Preferred
Equivalent work experience or equivalent college degree
Experience in commercial insurance markets and carrier relationships
Experience supporting marketing, renewals, or new business placement
