FM:Systems seeks a dynamic and driven Solutions Consultant to join our Technical Pre-Sales team. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert, helping clients navigate workplace management challenges and develop solutions that drive success. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in the field of technical sales within the dynamic landscape of a SaaS company.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert that thoroughly understands the FM:Systems solution set, use cases, technical architecture, and competitive landscape.

  • Provide product expertise and knowledge during the sales process to help close business

  • Develop and deliver remote product demonstrations as well as on-site demonstrations across multiple industries and for various audiences (Higher Ed, Healthcare, Corporate, Government, International)

  • Assist the Sales Team in performing discovery and uncovering critical business issues in client’s current process.

  • Create presentations and custom demonstrations as well as proof of concepts and guided training sessions when necessary

  • Act as a subject matter expert liaison between departments, including Product, Marketing, Support and Services to provide up-to-date information and engage in cross-dept. initiatives

  • Manage & maintain the sales demo environments

  • Contribute to RFP and security questionnaire responses.

  • Participate in industry meetings, networking, trade show events and activities

  • Self-educate on current market trends

  • Travel may be required 10-25% of the time.

How You Will Do It

  • Leverage your deep understanding of FM:Systems' products, technical architecture, and industry use cases to align solutions with client needs.

  • Use strong presentation and communication skills to deliver tailored demonstrations and workshops to diverse audiences.

  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Support, and Services teams to stay up to date with product developments and client feedback.

  • Manage your time effectively to prioritize tasks, adapt to shifting schedules, and ensure all client-facing deliverables are met with excellence.

  • Apply creativity and technical knowledge to craft engaging demonstrations, proof-of-concept models, and solutions that resonate with prospects.

What we look for

  • 5+ years of SaaS pre-sales experience with proven success.

  • Expertise in Workplace Management, Facilities, and/or Analytics Solutions.

  • Strong presentation and teaching skills with the ability to simplify and communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

  • A track record of quickly learning and applying new technologies.

  • Experience selling into industries such as corporate, healthcare, higher education, and government markets.

  • Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD and/or Revit.

  • Basic programming knowledge in HTML/CSS and understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.

  • Conceptual understanding of integration options and technologies and the ability to discuss choices with prospects and clients to fulfill their business requirements.

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.

  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and client demands.
