Manufacturing Program Engineer (Localisation)

Description -

What a Manufacturing Program Engineer (Localisation) does at HP:

  • Coordinates and leads the activities of internal and outsourced manufacturing partners in support of the worldwide manufacture of a product from new product introduction through end of lifecycle.
  • Collaborates internal, and outsourced manufacturing partners to recommend and implement localization requirements and end packaging process to improve quality and reduce cost.
  • Represents the Manufacturing program management localization team for all phases of larger and more- complex development and manufacturing projects.
  • SKU BOM (Bill Of Material) management and creation.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives to meet HP sustainability commitment and goals.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Materials/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • No prior experience required and fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • Using engineering tools and software packages to test, design, and evaluate products and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of material properties and hardware and manufacture.
  • Using empirical analysis, modelling and testing methodologies to validate product designs and specifications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate manufacturing plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.
  • Knowledge of smart manufacturing technologies and data analytics will be an added advantage.
  • Power BI and dashboard reporting competency.
