Asset Management Manager

Pay Details:

The annual base salary range for this position in California is $110,000 to $135,000 per year. The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.

The Asset Management Manager oversees the coordination and execution of leasing deals, ensuring smooth handoffs across leasing, legal, construction, operations, and finance. This role manages deal tracking systems, standardizes workflows, and provides real-time reporting to enhance visibility into leasing activity and operational performance. Serving as a central point of coordination, the manager supports cross-functional communication, maintains key documentation, and provides administrative support for meetings and special projects.

Responsibilities

Process & Deal Flow Management

  • Coordinate the flow of restaurant and office leasing deals from LOI through lease execution and handoff to tenant coordination

  • Maintain detailed deal tracking systems to monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and flag items requiring leadership input

  • Facilitate cross-functional handoffs between leasing, legal, construction, operations, and finance teams to ensure timely and organized deal progression

  • Standardize procedures, templates, and status updates to bring consistency and structure to real estate workflows

Reporting & Progress Visibility

  • Develop and manage reporting tools (dashboards, trackers, summaries) that give leadership real-time visibility into leasing activity, tenant improvement schedules, and property management performance

  • Provide concise, data-driven updates on key real estate initiatives, highlighting risks, gaps, and milestone achievement

  • Support the development of KPIs and reporting frameworks to monitor overall leasing, activation, and operational progress across the district

  • Help implement and maintain centralized documentation systems to ensure easy access to leases, LOIs, schedules, and approvals

Internal Coordination & Administrative Support

  • Act as a central coordination point across internal stakeholders, ensuring that real estate action items, documents, and decisions are well-organized and communicated

  • Assist with scheduling, agenda preparation, expense reporting, and follow-ups for internal deal review meetings and cross-functional project check-ins

  • Provide ad hoc support on special projects, including operational playbooks or onboarding materials for new team members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Operations Management, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in real estate operations, lease administration, tenant coordination, or project management within mixed-use, commercial, or hospitality environments

  • Highly organized and process-driven with strong attention to detail and follow-through

  • Proficient in project management tools, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Familiarity with commercial lease terms, tenant improvement timelines, and leasing workflows

  • Strong communicator who can translate complex processes into actionable plans and clear reports

  • Able to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders
