Summary: As an Application Lead for Workday Extend, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications. You will act as the primary point of contact and lead the effort to ensure successful project delivery. Your typical day will involve working with Workday Extend, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating technical findings effectively to stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications using Workday Extend. -Good understanding of Workday capabilities from a functional standpoint along with available integration options. Understand how Workday is used by clients to help guide design decisions. - Act as the primary point of contact for the project, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. - Communicate technical findings effectively to stakeholders, utilizing data visualization tools for clarity. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Extend. Custom App Development, Web Services (API), Workday HCM, Workday Reporting, Workday Security - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday HCM Testing, Web Services Standards. - Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Workday Extend. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
