Due to increasing growth opportunities Varian, a Siemens Healthineers Company seeks an experienced and motivated Operations Manager (f/m/d) for Clinical Services within EMEA region. At Varian, we’re dedicated to advancing oncology solutions and clinical services to provide better outcomes for patients worldwide. As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our strategic goals with project execution, ensuring that our clinical service projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will work cross-functionally with a diverse group of professionals, coordinating resources and timelines, and maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.

Your role:

  • Oversee the management and successful execution of Clinical Services projects, ensuring that all timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met, while effectively addressing any challenges or changes in project scope
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, facilitating detailed discussions to understand their clinical needs, project expectations, and future product planning, ensuring alignment and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Varian’s internal teams - including Sales, Applications, Education, and Strategic Solutions Partners – to achieve a unified approach and seamless delivery of clinical services
  • Implement strategic resource planning based on project requirements, skillsets, and geographic considerations, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and supporting the successful deployment of clinical services across various client sites
  • Proactively manage and resolve project-related issues, implement process improvements, and maintain clear and accurate documentation of project data within systems such as SAP, Unity, and other business tools
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate closely with Varian’s business units and leadership teams to contribute to the overall growth and success of the clinical services program

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s / master’s degree in a related field is preferred, (Medical Physics is a plus)
  • Multiple years of experience in managing complex clinical or technical projects within a medical or healthcare environment
  • Strong understanding of clinical services, ideally with experience in using Varian products and a track record of successful project execution in clinical settings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to present to and engage with senior-level executives and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using business tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems like SAP, as well as familiarity with project management tools and processes
  • Fluent language skills in English
