Job Description: 

As a software student in PESG, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to create software tools that meet Intel's specific, rapidly evolving requirements for designing, testing, and packaging silicon products. We work very closely with chip designers and other internal customers around the world, to understand their technical challenges, and to create proprietary CAD solutions.

In this position you will be:

• Developing, testing, and deploying state-of-the-art Software Tools, Flows, and Methodologies TFMs that are used for RTL and UPF integration efforts across the vast majority of Intel SoC organizations.
• Responsible for quality assurance processes and development, training, documentation, and support to customers from various Intel design teams across the world.
• We help them apply our software to answer critical questions, and to address their design objectives.

​The daily work in PESG spans the complete software life cycle, from early research to mature production code with industrial robustness and quality.

To deliver critical new features in our established solutions, or to create new CAD capabilities beyond the state of art in the industry, our teams frequently go through all steps in software development - problem analysis, requirements definition, design, coding, test, and deployment.

As a member of our team, you are expected to participate actively in all these steps.

Qualifications:

• Student towards BSc or MSc degree from in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or Electrical Engineering, with at least 4 semesters to graduation.
• Availability to work at 20 hours a week on average.
• Experience in Python is a must.
• Great technical and problem solving skills, combined with proper communication skill.
