This technical internship offers a unique opportunity to enhance the data infrastructure and systems integration of our Global Education department. Working closely with learning technology and data analytics teams, you will support the technical delivery, measurement, and optimization of global training programs through data-driven insights and systems architecture.
Support API Workflows: Assist in technical integration and data exchange between Learning Management Systems (LMS), content platforms, and enterprise systems.
Migration Strategy: Help define and design a comprehensive systems migration strategy to transition data to a newer platform.
Connectivity Management: Monitor, test, and troubleshoot API-based data exchanges to ensure reliable communication between interconnected platforms.
Database Development: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data, ensuring data integrity for reporting initiatives.
Visualization & Dashboarding: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards to provide actionable insights into training effectiveness and system performance.
Process Automation: Identify and implement opportunities for automation in data handling, reporting, and routine system maintenance.
System Mapping: Create and update documentation for existing data flows, system integrations, and database schemas.
Knowledge Transfer: Maintain comprehensive records to improve process resilience and facilitate team knowledge sharing.
Database Skills: Strong familiarity with database concepts and hands-on experience writing SQL queries.
Technical Knowledge: A basic understanding of systems integration and API concepts (REST, SOAP).
Tools: Experience with (or a strong desire to learn) Tableau for data visualization.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills with a specific aptitude for technical documentation.
High School Diploma is required
Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related technical field with a graduation date of December 2026 or later.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
