Team & Opportunity  

The Reconciliations team ensures the accuracy of IBOR data by reconciling it against custodian and clearer records for both global and local portfolios. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the team effectively manages multiple deliverables and stakeholder needs as part of its daily operations." 

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Co-ordinates, monitors and authorizes daily functional responsibilities across reconciliations redistributing resources where necessary. Ensures team deliverables and controls are completed timely and accurately. 

  • Serves as a subject matter expert and resource for associates while maintaining capability to complete output in a supporting role as necessary, including resolving escalated issues. 

  • Assists in training and cross-training of the unit, department crew members, and new crew members on various job responsibilities as assigned. 

  • Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation of current policies and procedures. 

  • Identifies opportunities, makes recommendations, and leads process improvement initiatives to gain efficiencies and ensure quality.  

  • Ensures adherence to the risk and control framework established in the team. Understands audit requirements and ensures that appropriate documentation is maintained to support audits, ensures that audits are completed efficiently and according to established service levels. 

  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with both internal and external clients and business partners. Leads regular communication with banks to ensure resolution of outstanding rec items. 

  • Participates and/or leads special projects and performs other duties as assigned. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience 

  • Minimum two years of business related experience 

  • High level analytical and problem solving 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines 

  • Excellent time management and organization skills 

  • Ability to understand complex technical issues. 

  • Proficiency with Word, Excel and other Microsoft applications preferred 

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and motivational skills 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills; team player with positive attitude
