Job Summary
We are seeking a candidate to help with our Automation and Continuous Release Team. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the software release process within the Keycloak organization. They will work closely with development and testing teams to ensure that software is released efficiently and reliably.
What You Will Do:
Release Management:
Assist with the planning and execution of software releases
Coordinate release activities with stakeholders, including developers, testers, and documentation teams
Ensure adherence to release schedules and timelines
Manage release documentation and artifacts
Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD):
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab, as well as internal tools
Automate build and release tasks to increase accuracy, repeatability, stability, and decrease their overall costs
Optimize CI/CD pipelines for speed, stability, and efficiency
Automation:
Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate release tasks
Integrate release automation with existing infrastructure and tools
Ensure the reliability of release automation processes
What You Will Bring:
An understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management processes
Experience with GIT and version control systems
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Have
Experience with tools such as Konflux, CPaaS, Errata Tool
