Summary
The EMEA Collections Manager is responsible for leading the regional/cluster Collections team. This role ensures operational excellence, compliance with corporate policies, and achievement of performance targets. The Manager drives process optimization, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders and other GBS functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to foster engagement, capability building, and continuous improvement.
Ensure achievement of KPIs such as cash collection, overdue reduction, bad debt, and dispute resolution in alignment with global standards and regional goals.
Oversee day-to-day collections activities, monitor customer portfolio risk, and implement actions to minimize exposure to bad debt.
Implement best practices and harmonize processes across EMEA to improve efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.
Identify and execute projects focused on automation, cost reduction, and service excellence within the C2C scope.
Oversee root cause analysis for escalated cases and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly.
Maintain strong relationships with Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Global Process Owners to align priorities and deliver improvements.
Analyze metrics, identify variances, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Ability to influence and negotiate.
Proven capability in supervisory staff levels and external stakeholders. • Good problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Functional knowledge of Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Cash Applications, Dispute Management processes along with customer segmentation.
Functional knowledge of Customer to Cash processes along with controls, compliance, and segregation of duties.
Adaptable to new ideas and ways of accomplishing tasks.
Education and/or Experience:
Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Customer to Cash or similar work experience.
8+ years’ experience in SSC type of environment or similar managerial role.
Experience in Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Cash Applications processes, and technologies.
Proven track record in C2C and continuous improvement strategies.
Proficient in role related IT architecture and new technologies.
Project management and/or Six Sigma or similar quality program experience preferred.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is 232 000,00 PLN annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change.
