DESCRIPTION –
Responsible for conducting the Installation and upgrading of Elekta’s Software Solutions in Asia Pacific & Japan to the required quality and schedule in accordance with the installation’s strategy. This includes installing, configuring, and testing Elekta software solutions and associated third-party software and equipment in support of customer expectations and revenue goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES –
Install and Upgrade Elekta Software solutions as required, either onsite or remotely.
Manage and coordinate activities associated with projects tasks including liaison with customers and internal resources to successfully achieve a positive outcome.
Complete work records in a timely manner in CLM/PSA or associated software, ensuring all relevant reports, backups and signed documentation are uploaded and/or submitted to Manager/Project Manager.
Manage own environment at a remote location in terms of cleanliness, organisation, workload, risk assessments etc.
Carry out all work in accordance with Elekta’s instructions and procedures. Any issues or problems that may adversely affect the project, its ongoing reliability or the safety of any personnel must be reported to Manager or Project Manager in a timely manner.
Successfully complete the required classroom and on-site training needed to perform the role.
Maintain qualifications and upskill on new products and releases.
Provide guidance and on-site training to other engineers within the region.
Become subject matter expert when new products are released and provide support and training to colleagues in the region.
Identifying any necessary training requirements and escalating these to management as needed.
Actively seeking and maintaining the necessary technical competence to be able to effectively diagnose and resolve problems on all Elekta software solutions.
Support the Regional ECSC with technical advice and guidance to assist with escalations.
Perform tasks as assigned.
Travel up to 60%.
RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES –
Degree or diploma In Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience).
Technical skills in Server Administration (Active Directory, DNS, Virtualisation), PC/Network
Computing, Knowledge of SQL, Citrix.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Flexible and accommodating approach.
Ability and desire to promote Elekta’s professional image.
Demonstrate excellent customer care skills & experience in a support environment.
Strong interpersonal communication and positive influencing skills, capable of working on own initiative whilst also being an effective team player
Prior Knowledge of supporting Elekta's software offerings desirable.
