The Role
The successful candidate will work on a team within the Retail Analytics Platform (RADP) product area, specifically, building AtScale data models within our AtScale platform on AWS. This would include working directly with our data consumers on use case data need requirements that would directly impact the semantic layer design and data modeling development against our Snowflake prepared and curated databases paying close attention to the granularity of the data to meet the use case needs.
Your direct engagement with the data consumers defines the standard metrics in support of the certification of metrics governance process, provides the consistency of data and supports both the development of certified dashboards on our Tableau AWS Platform, and our evolving AI capabilities around conversational analytics and agents.
The team highly values quality, efficient, performant semantic layer design and data model development and would have close collaboration with the BI Developer to ensure the best design of aggregates in support of the dashboard performance; being able to communicate to the consumers any trade-offs between performance and data needs. You will also contribute to the migration of the AtScale platform from the legacy installer version to the Kubernetes EKS version.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role.
