What You’ll Get to Do:  

  • As a passionate and self-motivated Front-end Software Engineer, you’ll work with multiple scrum teams to develop immersive user interfaces using Svelte, HTML, CSS, and Typescript
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience
  • Proactively engage as a thought leader within the team, driving innovative approaches and strategies that elevate our front-end development practices.
  • Contribute to the optimization of code for maximum performance and efficiency
  • Optimize code for seamless performance and rapidly address any potential issues
  • Uphold and champion industry best practices for the creation of top-tier web applications
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the formation of highly effective, collaborative teams

How you’ll do it:  

  • Work closely with the Product and Product design teams in order to understand the technical challenges of features, as well as determine the feasibility and viability of features sets and requests
  • Enforce strong coding best practices, guidelines, and standards throughout the team
  • Ensure that all code is clearly tested from end-to-end
  • Flexibility and comfort across all stacks should allow you to help solve issues at all levels, including code modularity and re-use
  • Foster a collaborative environment and be a good role model within the team.
  • Work closely with internal and external APIs and backend engineers to establish best practices for models and contracts
  • Be an evangelist for front end development - detail oriented with a passion for leading by example
  • Use your understanding of task runners and build frameworks to develop and evolve CI/CD
  • Enjoy a flexible work schedule within an accommodating team environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a software engineer with user interface development in Angular, React, Svelte, or similar framework
  • Experience creating and maintaining Enterprise web applications and integrating with back end services
  • Strong experience in CSS and creating page layouts using component libraries and toolkits

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of architecture styles and APIs including REST
  • Understanding of GIS concepts (ESRI tools, OGC Standards)
  • Experience working with CI pipelines
  • Experience with ElasticSearch and Kibana
  • Experience with AWS environments
  • Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment
  • Security+ Certification

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Clearance:

  • Top Secret or Top Secret SCI required, polygraph preferred

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance) required

$82,100 - 172,400 USD
