Role Overview: 

The Operations Senior Analyst role involves working in the Asset Servicing team which is responsible for ensuring any proceeds from corporate action events are posted to our clients and trading desks in an accurate and timely manner. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Supervise daily events arising from Corporate Actions, ensure all processes have been followed and confirm completion of workplans each day. 
  • Supervise a team of analysts to ensure daily tasks are prioritised correctly based on regulatory restrictions. 
  • Complete the approvals of daily maker-checker review files, and signoff end of day completion of all mandatory tasks.  
  • Identify procedure gaps and actively manage the streamlining of related work processes within your team.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders. 
  • Prepare appropriate business reporting including internal and external regulatory reports.  
  • Plan, develop and implement process transformation programmes, including the reduction of manual processes. 
  • Supervise team, their individual goals and manage performance.

What we’ll need from you: 

  • Previous finance experience advantageous.
  • Evidence of working within a team environment. 
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to perform a range of tasks/projects and assist with the training of other team members. 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word) 
  • Self-reliant, good problem solver and results oriented. 
  • Strong attention to detail.
