What you will be doing:
The Member Advocate position will function as the primary resource for nonclinical patient support for the Centers of Excellence and nontraditional TPA lines of business, patients and services.

Educate patients on benefits via telephone or electronically and respond to member questions and issues in a timely fashion, always showing care and concern.
Review incoming facility and member communication to appropriately triage work activity.
Resolve issues as appropriate and/or alert staff of concerns, providing solutions for consider
Participate in team environment to support an innovative healthcare delivery process and foster collaboration and continually process improvement.
Communicate with patients, providers, facilities and third-party vendors to address opportunities for process improvements.
Address member and or provider concerns, acting as a liaison between departments, establishing priorities, deadlines and resolution communication.
Request, collect, file and route member documentation for review, processing and storage.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in the application of benefits as needed.
Assist in the review and processing of patient claims and monitor progress to ensure optimal flow, patient satisfaction and client value.
Support team with operational functions as needed.
Required Qualifications
Work Experience:
Years of Applicable Experience - 2 or more yearsEducation:
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
