JOB SUMMARY:

The CFStudents Coordinator looks after all aspects of CFStudent Ministry, focusing primarily on Campus Ministry, VIVE events, weekly CFStudents Service with Groups, and Weekend serving opportunities for students. This position acts as a supervisor for all CFStudents paid staff and volunteers on the campus and reports to the Campus Pastor and the Central Director of Student Ministries. This is a part-time, 25 hour salaried exempt position.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Serving and caring for students and their families at the campus level. 
  • Leading CFStudents weekly experiences and helping events (Camps, Retreats, etc.) and various projects within CFStudents.
  • Partnering with and serving the Campus Pastor to help support the campus as a whole by, but not limited to, serving as a Pastor on Call, serving at the Altar, teaching Journey experiences, leveraging the weekend to connect with volunteers, students and their families, etc.
  • Building an extensive team of adult volunteers to invest in our students including Service Volunteers and Group Leaders.
  • Developing and mobilizing students to lead and serve within CFStudents, and working with Campus Teams to ensure student participation in weekend worship, the Journey, and 4th Saturday serve.
  • Participate in all Student Ministries meetings and events, including collaboratively write message content and curriculum as an ongoing joint project with the other campus CFStudents Ministry staff.
  • Maintaining an annual Student Ministry Budget.
  • Actively engage with students on multiple school campuses weekly.

EDUCATION:

College graduate, or degree in progress, preferably in a related field of ministry.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience in student ministry. 
  • Demonstrated experience in building and leading teams or volunteers, including recruiting, training and mentoring. 
  • Proficient with computer, and social media, and able to quickly become proficient in new technology formats.
  • Demonstrated experience in communicating to students, volunteers and parents.
