Job Description

Software Engineer Senior Consultant II implements applications following 12-factor principles to build out the product and iterative enhancements. They own the full stack of software products, developing and implementing frontends (web or mobile), and backend services. They leverage test driven development and continuous integration to ensure agility and quality of products. They actively participate in the decision-making process of the team ensuring that the simplest appropriate technology and design is chosen to meet user needs.

UI/UX Designer - HTML/CSS Specialist with Mockup Expertise

About the Role

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer with strong HTML and CSS skills to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will create intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing mockups that will be converted into HTML/CSS templates for implementation by our .NET developers in Blazor projects. You will also develop HTML and CSS solutions for pages within our Siebel environment. You'll collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed mockups and wireframes that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows
• Convert mockups into clean, well-structured HTML and CSS templates for Blazor implementation by .NET developers
• Develop HTML and CSS solutions specifically for pages within Siebel environment
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate the design process and prototype creation
• Work closely with business analysts to understand business problems and develop user-centered solutions
• Collaborate with .NET developers to ensure smooth implementation of designs into Blazor applications
• Conduct usability testing and integrate user feedback into design iterations
• Stay current with emerging UI/UX trends and technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with JavaScript for interactive elements
• Experience with UI frameworks including Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, and similar technologies
• Strong proficiency in creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using industry-standard tools
• Ability to rapidly produce concept designs and iterate based on feedback
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience creating user interfaces for business applications
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present design concepts to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance domain knowledge or experience working on insurance applications
• Familiarity with Siebel environments and interface design constraints
• Basic understanding of Blazor and .NET development frameworks
• Experience with design systems and component libraries
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX work for web applications
