The Global Partners Organization is hiring an experienced Senior Program Manager. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual contributor with a comprehensive Program Management toolkit and proven track record to influence, drive, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build our modern Partner ecosystem for Workday.
The Program Manager works within our Program Management Office (PMO) pillar of the Partner Operations organization. The ideal candidate will have prior work experience in Partner Ecosystems, Sales Strategy & Operations or Revenue Operations. The role requires strong analytical and organizational skills and unwavering attention to detail. You are self-motivated, results driven, and have experience presenting and communicating to different levels of leadership and collaborators across the organization. You work independently and take ownership while driving alignment & execution of key strategic initiatives.
You will report to our Sr. Director of Program Management with primary focus areas to include:
Works closely with Program Sponsors and Leaders to drive decisions, mitigate risks and resolve issues
Manages key initiatives from ideation to execution by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to create program governance and project plans.
Presents program status updates to senior management, effectively communicating risks and providing recommendations to support decision making.
Leverages past operational, enablement and customer experience to solve problems, fill gaps and achieve initiative objectives
Supports PMO team planning activities including prioritization of initiatives and Partner Relationship Management (PRM) system changes
Supports improvement and documentation of our PMO processes, procedures and collateral

About You
We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager who is passionate about delivering and understands the value of structure while balancing the need for agility and innovation within that framework. Using transformation program management standard methodologies, this role will guide initiatives and at times step in directly to lead the facilitation of business strategy definition, scope identification, cross functional design, timeline alignment and drive on time delivery of committed outcomes and results.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of cross organizational program management within a go to market, SAAS, software organization
3+ years of experience in Sales Strategy, Business Operations or Partner Operations
Other Qualifications:
Program Management Certification, such as the PMP Certification from the Program Management Institute
Experience working with strategy teams to determine strategic priorities and effectively plan and roadmap operational impacts
Experience working with Business Technology and product owner to identify and deliver systems changes to support changing stakeholder needs
A passion for team mentorship, employee development and building a team culture based on delivering results at speed while having fun
Experience building trusted relationships with executive leaders
Knowledge of design thinking, agile concepts and the ability to step in as a business transformation advisor as needed.
Experience leading high-impact programs in the enterprise software industry or consulting experience is a plus
