POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling the daily receipt, processing and distribution of retail merchandise and supplies. He/she is also responsible for the security of the Retail Warehouse and its contents as well as being responsible for the security of retail merchandise and supplies during their distribution to various locations at Winter Park Resort. He/she will assist in all aspects of inventory control, and suggest reorders and new products. He/she is part of the team that is responsible for the overall accuracy and efficiency of the Retail Warehouse. He/she consistently follows policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook. This position is integral in maintaining the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of our Retail Rental department at Winter Park Resort.  As our businesses continue to operate on more of a year round basis, this position is integral to support the Warehouse manager in keeping up with product shipments and the need to have locations opened and fully stocked through all seasons.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

General Responsibilities

• Checks in and barcodes retail merchandise and supplies at the Retail Warehouse in a timely manner.

• Distributes retail merchandise and supplies to various storefronts at Winter Park Resort.

• Operates with efficiency in Apropos, Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.

• Have excellent inventory control skills.

• Is a team player and understands and exhibits cooperation.

• Is able to work/interact with other resort departments in an efficient and cooperative manner.

• Moving ski/snowboard equipment between locations.

• Able to work effectively in the absence of the Retail Warehouse Manager.

• Meet the inventory needs of Winter Park Resort's Retail/Rental stores.

• Clean and organize the Retail Warehouse for operation as needed. This is to include but not limited to, vacuuming, stacking and organizing boxes and shipments, trash removal, cardboard removal, folding of clothing, and loading/unloading of product from boxes onto shelves and fixtures.

• Perform other duties as directed.

• Assists in the processing of up to $3M in Retail inventory and $2M in Rental/Demo inventory.  This includes taking shipments in, processing through our inventory management systems, checking all shipments for accuracy and helping to fix any discrepancies, and delivery of the products to all store within the base of Winter Park and the Jane.

•  Operates with efficiency in MI9, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and word, accounting programs in place by Winter Park and Alterra, as well as RTP.

• Maintains a safe and efficient workspace at the warehouse, ensuring that all product is accounted for and inventoried correctly.

• Is able to work with an interact with other resort departments, as well as outside companies and vendors, in an efficient and cooperative manner.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Attention to detail, organization, and accuracy of work

• Must be able to lift and carry 50lb boxes.

• Must have a valid Driver’s License.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.

WAGE:

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resorts hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resorts total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.

Hourly pay range: $19 - $21.00 per hour
