WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH 

You are a member of Nike Direct Operations team and report to the Pricing Operations Manager. You are going to work very closely with Merchandising, Planning, and Merchandising Operations across all ND channels. Other functions you will closely partner include Athlete & Retail Operations, Retail Operations Directors, Marketing Operations, Platform Operations, and different Technology teams. Finally, you collaborate with our Global Digital Ops team. 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Nike Direct Pricing Operations Specialist to join our dynamic and fast-paced Digital Operations team based at Nike European HQ! Our team ensures we can bring our product assortment to EMEA consumers across all Nike Direct channels every season. You will make sure consumers pay the accurate price for their Nike product by focusing on the operational tasks related to pricing, promotions and markdowns. 

To be successful in the role, you should be meticulous, tech savvy and analytical. We need you to be curious, open to interrogate end-to-end processes in a constructive way, with always an eye on the critical metrics we are accountable for delivering. You are structured, able to understand complex matters and dedicate communication to partners with different backgrounds. You thrive under pressure and be positively always engaged, ready to be agile in your working day and application of knowledge and ideas! You maintain a flexible schedule that regularly includes evenings, holidays and weekends work. 

In order to be successful in this role, the below criteria applies;

  • Solid retail experience across all product lifecycle for both digital and store channels  

  • Experience with product pricing - including pricing terminologies, and understanding of how data flows between systems - and promotion set up, as well as operating before season starts and during retail sales moments (e.g., cyber week) 

  • Ability to demonstrate affinity with numbers, advanced Excel and Airtable knowledge is a must-have. 

  • Deep expertise of operational and analytical systems (i.e., Just Enough, Tableau, Answers), able to execute tasks, create dashboards, conduct analysis independently. Additionally, technical capability building (i.e.., Upgrade existing tools, build new tools) 

  • Strong communication skills, with ability to easily adjust messages to different audiences. 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

  • Proven operational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to independently investigate, create validation solutions and articulate insights in a structured way. 

  • Results-focused, strong sense of ownership, ability to adjust to fast changes, and able to handle stress. 

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In this role you will have a quite diverse set of responsibilities. You'll bring support to the stores and digital channels on seasonal and seasonless projects & processes and ensure pricing readiness. You will work across different teams to make sure pricing, markdowns and promotions are set up and flow accurately in our systems. You will own the pricing execution, and you will drive validation. 

You resolve pricing issues daily while also generate insights for long-term resolution. If high-impact issues arise, you will coordinate the resolution process and the root cause analysis across the different stakeholders. 

As the pricing expert, it is your role to find opportunities to improve processes, tools and dashboards. When new capabilities come our way, you will support the rollout. You’ll keep pricing seasonal calendars, process documentation, and project trackers up-to-date
