Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including but not limited to live performances & concerts; conferences, seminars & corporate meetings; private events & receptions.

  • Interface with theater patrons to provide the highest levels of customer service.

  • Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring all elements are executed according to plan.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards including overall cleanliness of the theaters.

  • Maintain accurate records of event activities before, during and after.

  • Provide on-site support during events to address any issues that arise and ensure smooth execution, acting as manager on duty as needed.

  • Assist in post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and gather feedback from clients and participants.

  • Work with other departments in preparing documents and deliverables for events.

  • Fulfill front of house event staff positions as needed.

  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including providing inter-departmental support.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in event coordination, hospitality, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a similar role.

  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as well as during normal business hours.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively under pressure.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with event management software and tools.

  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • CPR & WA MAST Certified required – training will be provided if not current

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk extensively; occasionally required to kneel, climb ladders and stairs to high walkways, or balance.

  • This position requires work inside and outside of the building and some exposure to adverse conditions.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $22 per hour

  • Minimum weekly hours: 30

  • Overtime: time plus one half paid for weekly hours over 40

  • Sick leave paid in accordance with Washington state law.

  • Eligibility to participate in the following benefit plans: healthcare, health and flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability, voluntary benefits, and retirement savings 401(k). Eligibility is based on average hours worked per week.
