The Payments – ACH Technical Team provides management, support and maintenance of the several key payment applications in our ecosystem including ACH, Instant Payments, and international wire transfers.  The team ensures the applications and associated systems, and processes are performing efficiently to avoid business disruption.

The Payments Mainframe Developer is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting of our payment applications.  This includes multiple payment services including ACH, Foreign Exchange, and the new and exciting Instant Payments.  This role primarily supports mainframe applications but would work closely with a team that supports key payments technologies that execute on or integrate with distributed systems.  This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which involves other multiple initiatives as assigned by IT leadership. 

This role is hybrid (Tue & Wed on-site) for candidates in the Kansas City area and open to qualified remote candidates outside of the Kansas City area but only within the US.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • Provide production support of highly complex applications in production by troubleshooting issues, proposing solutions, developing and testing fixes, and implementing solutions.
  • Work closely with application and infrastructure teams, vendors and various business units to identify solutions to remediate issues.
  • Provide support and development in project delivery for our payment systems like ACH PEP+, ACH Alert, FXSuite 360 and Instant Payments.

We’re excited to talk with you if:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in an application support or development role.
  • You have knowledge in implementation/support of packaged applications with components running under a variety of possible technologies such as:  Mainframe, Microsoft technologies, Java, web services, Oracle & SQL databases, Linux & Unix operating systems and MQ series.
  • You have moderate to advanced experience in SQL.

Bonus Points If:

  • You have solid experience in ACH PEP+, ACH Alert, FXSuite and/or Instant Payments.

Compensation Range:

Minimum: $57,760.00 - Maximum: $149,000.00
