Project Role : Performance Engineer
Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary: A Siemens Opcenter Infrastructure specialist is responsible for setting up, managing, and maintaining the technical environment for Opcenter MES, including version Upgrade, servers, databases, and network configurations. They ensure system performance, security, scalability, and support installations, upgrades, and disaster recovery planning Roles & Responsibilities: -Excellent understanding of MES System Architecture. -Set up, configure, and maintain various environments (development, testing, staging, production) for Siemens Opcenter Discrete and MOM implementations. -Must have experience with version upgrade and license management. -Monitor system performance, ensure optimal operation of MES environments, and proactively address any performance issues. -Coordinate and manage the deployment of MES applications and updates across different environments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. -Provide technical support for environment-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions to maintain system stability. -Maintain detailed documentation of environment configurations, changes, and procedures; ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Professional & Technical Skills: -Must Have Skills: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience on Opcenter Execution Discrete tool. -Knowledge of ISA95 standard -Should have knowledge of Validation aspects and related software -Strong understanding of software engineering principles and methodologies. -Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
