Geode Health is seeking a dedicated PRN Therapist to join our team of mental health professionals in North Carolina. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, providing therapy exclusively through virtual platforms. The PRN Therapist will collaborate with Geode Health to deliver outstanding mental healthcare services to our patients, utilizing our comprehensive suite of marketing, resources, and support.  Virtual therapists will also have the unique ability to, where appropriate, partner with Geodes network of medication management providers to serve their patients. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual therapy sessions with patients utilizing Geode Health's virtual platform, adhering to best practices in mental health treatment.
  • Provide compassionate and effective counseling services, addressing the unique needs and concerns of each patient while promoting mental wellness and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough electronic medical records (EMR) for each patient encounter, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Leverage Geode Health's proprietary tools and resources, including MBC (Measurement-Based Care), scheduling software, billing systems, and IT support, to streamline patient care and administrative processes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education provided by Geode Health to enhance clinical skills, stay abreast of emerging trends in mental healthcare, and maintain licensure and credentials.
  • Engage in collaborative discussions and consultations with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other therapists, to optimize patient outcomes and treatment plans.
  • Adhere to all relevant ethical, legal, and professional standards governing mental health practice, including maintaining confidentiality and upholding patient rights.

 

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in the state of North Carolina.
  • Experience providing therapy to individuals with diverse backgrounds and presenting concerns, preferably in an outpatient or virtual setting.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems and virtual therapy platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards of practice.
