The Red Hat Ecosystem Success team is looking for an experienced Global Partner Account Manager to join us. In this role, you will guide the development of joint strategies and initiatives which deliver channel revenue growth through our distributors and expand our presence in new customer segments. As a Global Partner Account Manager on the Global Distribution team, you will also be responsible for collaborating with a cross-functional global team, including alliance managers, segment, regional and route leaders to facilitate successful distribution plays and activities that contribute to Red Hat’s overall objectives. You will oversee the development and execution of strategic initiatives and marketing programs to support sales across global distribution. You’ll need to have successful experience in working with strategic alliances, channel partners and delivering business results in the IT industry. Experience working with distributors is a plus.
What you will do:
Develop and carry out ecosystem strategies with our distributors to grow our joint business
Deliver bookings growth aligned to and in support of the growth plans of Red Hat’s business teams and regions
Effectively manage market development funds to achieve results
Effectively manage and oversee global initiatives which scale our business through distributors
Collaborate with the global and regional Red Hat teams to establish and execute the right campaigns, offerings, or promotions that achieve channel bookings growth
Collaborate with other Distribution Account Managers on joint distributor business plans that facilitate Red Hat ecosystem expansion, enhanced partner enablement on key Red Hat technologies, and bookings growth
What you will bring:
5+ years of alliance or partner business development experience
Channel industry business and sales leadership experience; business development skills, including strategy, vision, and building and implementing business plans
Ability to build relationships with a solid executive presence and proven ability to build credibility with partner and internal executives
Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; good presentation skills
Motivated, passionate, innovative, collaborative, creative, and analytical
Demonstrated ability to plan and set priorities, identify and resolve problems and produce measurable results
The following are considered a plus:
Experience working with distributors
Knowledge of open source software
Experience working with global teams

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
